

WHAT IS OSTEOARTHRITIS ?
Osteoarthritis is a joint inflammation resulting from cartilage degeneration. It is the most common form of arthritis affecting millions of people worldwide. Although osteoarthritis can damage any joint, the disorder most commonly affects joints in your hands, knees, hips and spine. Osteoarthritis (OA) occurs more often as we age. Before age 45, osteoarthritis affects males more frequently. After 55 years of age, it occurs more frequently in females.
